White Oak Flooring: The Cure for the Swine Flu

white-oak-beats-swine-flu

In the chaos of the imminent Swine Flu pandemic, the world is descending into complete anarchy. The signs:

1.  Miss California actually getting political on the Miss USA stage and on to DC (Little reminder, Prejean-baby-queen:  It’s “elbow-elbow, wrist-wrist”, not “elbow-elbow, ‘withhold rights from these people'”,  k?).

2.  Further blurring politics and pageantry, Silvio Berlusconi, prime minister of Italy, filling his political cabinet with completely unqualified models, beauty queens, and actresses.

3.  Further blurring American and Italian craziness, bankrupt Chrysler partnering up with Italian automaker Fiat. Americans nationwide look at tiny Fiats, then at massive Chrysler SUV’s, wondering how this is going to work physics-wise a la Arnold Schwarzennegger and Maria Schriver.

Fortunately for us all, White Oak hardwood flooring has risen up from underfoot to alay our fears and put all the madness to rest.

One of the best attributes of hardwood flooring is that, unlike carpet, it doesn’t offer safe haven for dust, dirt, disease, and general nastiness. And what falls under the category of general nastiness?

Swine flu, that’s what.

So, by installing a beautiful smooth or hand scraped White Oak floor in your home, office, or lair, you are effectively strapping on an impermeable armor of hardwood with which to combat bacteria, pathogens, and other carpet-dwelling baddies. Hardwood also helps those with allergies, as dust and animal dander won’t permeate the floor and be released with every footstep.

While we can’t guarantee that installing a new White Oak hardwood floor will bring an immediate halt to the craziness sweeping through the world, we can guarantee that you will love how light colored White Oak makes your rooms appear larger and more pristine; we can also guarantee that it will simply look nice and not say anything controversial to your dinner guests at inopportune times.

So, reading about wood is pretty entertaining. 🙂 I love it. Keep up the good work.

Nice! Although I think if White Oak looks too nice, it might encourage more situations like #3, except maybe realistically with German Shepherds and chihuahuas instead of oddly incompatible politicos…
